My Story

The Beginning
I didn't grow up thinking I belonged anywhere, let alone building platforms that support women in seeing themselves clearly: their strength, their story, their worth. I was raised by a mother and grandmother who survived domestic abuse, women who worked hard to create stability even when life felt uncertain. Growing up in that environment shaped how I saw myself and the world. For years, I questioned whether I truly belonged in certain spaces or deserved the opportunities placed in front of me. Becoming a young mother at 22 deepened that sense of responsibility, but it also became the catalyst that pushed me to build a different future, one grounded in courage, growth, and possibility.
The Shift
My career began as a medical assistant, a role rooted in service and care. But when I took a chance on myself and stepped into healthcare technology as a build analyst, everything shifted. For the first time, I began to see what was actually possible for my life. That single step opened doors I didn't know existed. I went back to school, earning my bachelor's and master's degrees while continuing to grow professionally. Over time, I evolved into leadership roles in executive strategy and IT consulting, worked alongside innovative tech startups, and found my voice as a mentor and advocate. Today, I serve as Mentor Chair for Women in Healthcare and sit on the board of Stemming IDEAS, not to build credentials, but because I believe deeply in building pathways for others to rise.

The Why
None of this journey happened alone. My life has been shaped by what I call "Extraordinary Ordinary Women," the ones who encouraged me when the ground felt too hard to grow anything, who planted seeds of belief when I couldn't see my own worth, and who simply walked beside me without letting go. They are my why. Because I have been witnessed by so many women, I feel called to help others feel truly seen, not when everything is perfect, but right in the middle of becoming. My work, my book, and my platform are rooted in one unshakable belief: women are already enough, already worthy, and fully capable of creating meaningful impact exactly where they stand.
The Mission
That is why I offer what I do. Through speaking, mentorship, and storytelling, I create spaces where women can recognize their strength, embrace their story, and step forward with clarity and confidence. I believe leadership begins with self-acceptance and grows through community, through women witnessing women. My purpose isn't just to share my journey, but to help others see that their story matters too, and that extraordinary lives are built from ordinary moments of courage, connection, and belief.
